pub enum CopyDest {
At(u64),
Append,
}Expand description
Where a copy’s bytes land in the destination.
Not a bare offset: an append-mode handle has no offset to name — both backends refuse a positional write on one, and the position is chosen by the platform at write time — yet copying to the current position of such a handle is perfectly meaningful.
Variants§
At(u64)
At an absolute offset.
Append
Through File::append, which places bytes at the end of a handle
opened for appending. Like append itself, this belongs to such a
handle: on any other one it writes wherever the platform’s own position
happens to be.
